Media Photos

I have taken a few pictures for my music magazine and i have selected 7 photos which i could use for my music magazine in the future.Also these photos have not been edited yet and will be edited for my magazine if they do get put onto my magazine.

Picture 1

For one on my photos I have taken is of my friend in a tree holding a guitar. I like this picture because one of the main focus’s is Sam and the fact he has a guitar and it represents well with the colour scheme I am using and this is of red, black and white and there is a red guitar. I will be hoping to put this on one of my pages as I feel this will look good. I will edit it and develop it to make the picture look good and I think that I will be making the picture all black and white but I will perhaps leave all of Sam in colour or just leave the guitar in colour and everything else black and white this is called colour pop.

For my second photo I feel this isn’t as good as the previous one as I feel the whole of the bottom half of the body is cut off and this is more of a medium shot. I don’t really want to have this in my magazine as I feel there would be no need as I want a whole body shot of Sam my main focus of my magazine. If I was to use this I could use it in a smaller picture in my contents and this will be edited to a darker image or higher saturated picture.

For my third picture this is one of my favourite style pictures I took but there are some negatives to the photo. The two problems there are, are that the picture is a little bit blurry and both people on the left and right are cut out. I feel if this is the downside and this is the disappointment of the picture and this would have been one of my main reasons why I wont be choosing the picture for my magazine.

For my fourth photo I like this picture as its in a forest with a guitar. This is similar to the first photo I analysed and I would like to use this photo in my magazine. If I would use this photo I will edit it and I would leave the red guitar which represents with my colour scheme and the blue trainers also would make the picture look a little bit brighter.

For this photo I feel this an ok picture and this can be improved in many ways. I feel that the background isn’t the right background I would need for my front cover or contents or double page spread as I feel it isn’t indie enough because its just showing a country lane and a sign post. Also another negative factor to my picture is that I feel it is a slight bit blurry. I feel this picture isn’t good enough for my front cover or contents or double page spread.

For this photo I really like the style its used. I think it is a very good idea and looks like a picture you would see in a music magazine. I feel if I was to use this in the future I would perhaps cut out the main image and perhaps I would stick it on my double page spread where the writing will go to make it look professional.

For my final photo I am analysing I feel this is also another really good picture I took. I feel this one like the previous photo I took are pictures you will see in a music magazine. Also like the previous picture I think that I will cut out the main image and stick it on the double page spread in a small photo next to the previous photo I analysed.
